Les Amis Belges is located on Rue De Barriou in Vinsobres, almost at the highest point of this picturesque village. From here you will enjoy breathtaking views over the vineyards and surrounding villages such as Nyons, Mirabel-aux-Baronnies, Villedieu and of course the imposing Mont Ventoux and the rugged peaks of Les Dentelles de Montmirail.
This village is best known for its Vinsobres AOC wine, a red wine that is part of the southern Rhône Valley.
The region around Vinsobres enjoys a unique microclimate that is the envy of the rest of Europe. With an average of 300 sunny days per year and a subtropical climate, summers are hot and dry, while winters remain mild thanks to the influence of the Mediterranean Sea.
From May to October, temperatures rise above 20°C, with summer days around 30°C and sometimes peaks up to 35°C. Fortunately, the low humidity and natural air conditioning – the Mistral wind – ensure that it never feels oppressive. In short, the ideal climate for plenty of cycling and enjoyment!
